  • What do you mean by transformational workshops/experiences?
    My workshops are designed to offer you and your colleagues a new way of understanding yourself and one another through activities that differ from the often quick or transactional ways in which people normally engage. These workshops provide new lenses that can lead to new perspectives and ways of engagement to facilitate better interpersonal relationships and team performance.
  • Is this DEI?
    In recent years, many organizations have developed a keen interest in Diversity Equity Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB), some for reasons that are strategic, others because they believe that in a diverse world and work environment, it’s the right thing to do. I see DEIB as an important consideration in organizational culture and performance. I also believe that all humans have dignity and inherent worth and that interpersonal connection — beginning with an understanding of oneself and each other— is key to building more effective individuals, teams, workplaces, and communities. Better understanding can foster better interpersonal communications which in turn can motivate better relationships and outcomes. In this way, my workshops are in harmony with DEIB principles, support DEIB efforts, and motivate DEIB outcomes — and also go beyond such that you will experience them as quite different from typical DEIB trainings.
  • Who would benefit from participating?
    Workshops can serve the needs of many different groups including: Leadership teams seeking professional development Companies, organizations, or executive teams looking for a kickoff event for retreats Groups looking for team building, cohesion, and better interpersonal relationships Groups, organizations, or companies, or groups wanting to build community Diverse communities wishing to develop intergroup connections and harmony
  • How do I book a workshop/experience?
    It’s easy! Just fill out the form at the bottom of this page and I’ll be in touch with you shortly.
  • In person or virtual?
    The answer is yes! Workshops can be delivered either way. In fact, clients are often surprised at how effective workshops are, even when done virtually. And, if you’re pressed for time, virtual workshops are especially effective because transitions are quicker and allow for the same experience to be delivered in less time. Workshops focus on interpersonal engagement so they are more effective when all participants engage either in-person or virtually, rather than as a hybrid group.
  • How long are workshops/experiences?
    Typically, workshops vary in length from 1.5-3 hours. Experiences may include a combination of workshops and can be longer.
  • Is there a sequence in which workshops should be taken?
    Workshops can be taken individually or in sequence. I will work with you to understand your goals and group dynamics. Then, together, we can determine the most appropriate place for us to start.
  • How many people can participate at a time?
    The ideal number of workshop participants depends on your objectives which we can work together to determine and then find the best solution for your needs.
  • How much planning or prep from me or us, in addition to the scheduled workshop? Is there any pre-work required from participants?
    I ask for a brief meeting with organizers of the workshop or event to align on our objective(s). Beyond that, most of my workshops do not require any pre-work of participants. For some virtual workshops, participants are asked to come with a writing utensil, paper, and a small personal item that I specify via email before the workshop.
  • Can you do a custom/tailored workshop?
    Yes! I can tailor an existing workshop to your needs.
  • Who facilitates?
    Depending on the size of your group, I will facilitate them myself or with the support of a team member and co-facilitator.
  • How much does this cost?
    Prices for workshops vary depending on the method for delivery (virtual or in-person + geographic location), the length of the workshop, and the number of participants.
  • What’s the ROI on this?
    Sometimes people ask about the return on investment on this type of human-centered, relationship-building work that may feel tangential to their core business. I invite them to consider the return on operating with steadfast commitment to their innermost core values and pursuing their highest ideals in a way that recognizes the worth of all stakeholders. On the flip side, what might be the personal, interpersonal, and systemic cost of ignoring them?
